Algos Pain & Spine Care has been established to provide comprehensive pain management services on a full-time basis to the community of Skokie and beyond. As an independent outpatient clinic, our goal is to provide patients with a customized plan of care incorporating appropriate medication pain management, interventional pain procedures, physical therapy and chiropractic referrals, cognitive behavior therapy, and surgical referrals. This is all done through a pain specialist Dr. Daniel Cha, who is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In his twelve years of experience in treating chronic pain, Dr. Cha has developed a unique multi-disciplinary pain management approach, providing a level of care that restores functional capacity and improved quality of life. He focuses on each patient individually, and attempts to find a treatment plan tailored to specific pain complaints and disease.
Dr. Cha has had extensive clinical experience in advanced pain management procedures, including intrathecal pain pump trial/implantation, spinal cord stimulation for failed back surgery syndrome, and minimally invasive treatment of spinal stenosis with neurogenic claudication. He is one of the few certified physicians in the Midwest who has training and extensive clinical experience in the placement of Superion Vertiflex implants as well as Vertos mild (Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression) for treatment of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis with Neurogenic Claudication.
